The 69th Filmfare Awards ceremony, a popular award ceremony in Hindi cinema, was held in Gujarat on Sunday. This Filmfare Award was the talk of the town.
Bollywood Cleb’s Night in Filmfare:
Many big Bollywood stars including Ranbir Kapoor, Kartik Aryan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sunil Grover, Karisma Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor arrived here in the evening to attend the awards ceremony. Following the red carpet reception, Karan Johar and Ayushmann Khurrana hosted the Filmfare Awards. Apart from Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Minister of State for Home Harsh Shanghvi and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state unit chief CR Patil were also present at the ceremony. The Filmfare Awards is an annual ceremony honoring artistic and technical excellence in Hindi language films.
‘Animal’ and ’12th Fail’ Dominate:
Two films ‘Animal’ and ’12th Fail’ dominated the awards ceremony. Because ‘Animal’ won a total of six awards. Vidhu Vinod Chopra of the film ’12th Fail’ has received the Best Film as well as Best Director award.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt Shine Bright:
Meanwhile, Actor Ranbir Kapoor and his wife Alia Bhatt won the 69th Filmfare Awards. Alia Bhatt won the Best Actress award for the Karan Johar-directed ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and Ranveer won the Best Actor award for his performance in ‘Animal’. Manoj Bajpayee’s film ‘Joram’ and Akshay Kumar’s ‘OMG 2’ have won in the Best Story category.
